Smaller corporate groups or parties are welcome to bring their Christmas Parties to
our regular comedy nights.

The Funny Side of the City runs every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday throughout December.
What's more, there'll be two shows per day, one at 4.30pm and one at 7.30pm!
These shows can accept groups of up to 60.

The Funny Side of Covent Garden runs every Friday and Saturday throughout the year.
During December it will be running two shows every Friday, one at 5pm and one at 8pm.
These shows can accept groups of up to 40.

The Funny Side of Clapham Common runs every Thursday and can accept Christmas
groups of up to 40.

Throughout December we host special Christmas-themed shows. These shows
feature 3 top stand-ups and a compere as usual but we turn our venues into veritable
santas grottoes (tasteful decorations only though!), our playlist between acts becomes
100% Christmas and we offer chances to win festive prizes throughout the night
including bottles of champagne.

Simply call our booking line to buy your tickets using a credit or debit card on
0844 478 0404. We allocate seats to ensure you will all be sitting together as a group
for the comedy show.

If you'd like a more exclusive Christmas Comedy experience, The Funny Side can
arrange a private comedy show for you.

Private shows can be held at The Funny Side...of Covent Garden, The Funny Side
of...The City or The Funny Side...of Clapham Common on any day of the week
at the venue of your choice, or if you'd like, we'll even source an appropriate venue for you.

Venue Choice

The Funny Side of Covent Garden's capacity is 76 seated - although our regular comedy
nights are on Fridays and Saturdays, you can hire it for a private show on any day of the
week, subject to availability.

The Funny Side of The City's Capacity is 90 seated - although our regular comedy
nights are Thursdays, you can hire it for a private show on any day of the week,
subject to availability.

The Funny Side of Clapham Common's Capacity is 70 seated - although our regular
comedy nights are every Thursday, you can hire it for a private show
on any day of the week, subject to availability.

All of our venues can cater for groups wishing to eat.

Larger Party?

If your group is too large for our venues, we'll happily arrange a show at a venue of
your choice, or even source a venue for you. We have strong links with a range of
suitable rooms, whatever your party size.

Flexibility

Private shows offer you flexibility - choose the length of your show, the time of day,
whether you'd like food or drink and, if you provide us with some information about
the nature of your audience we can even try and tailor the style of comedy to match
your taste.

Christmas Spirit

Costs

The cost of a private show will depend on a number of factors including the day of
the week, the time/length of the show, the size of your group and your venue
requirements. In most cases however, we can tailor a show to suit your budget.

If you would like food in addition to comedy, The Funny Side...of The City is located
downstairs at Gastro bar The Spectator'.

The Funny Side...of Covent Garden is located upstairs at historic London pub, The
George on The Strand and serves a traditional British Menu.

The Funny Side...of Clapham Common is located upstairs in a large bar called
'The Alexandra'. They offer a range of food from snacks and nibbles to main meals,
from Thai to Western Cuisine and a number of options for groups.

Christmas menus for all our venues are available on request.
