About The Funny Side
The Funny Side is one of the UK’s leading comedy promoters and provides a range of
live comedy services to corporate clients.
Whether you'd like to:
The Funny Side can help.
The Funny Side launched it's first comedy club, ‘The Funny Side...of Covent Garden’,
in April 2006, in the heart of Covent Garden’s Theatreland.
Initially running just once a week, within the space of a year it had won a Best Comedy
Venue Award and, due to its rapidly increasing popularity, had expanded to operate on Wednesdays and Fridays in addition to Sundays.
Today it is one of the only clubs in the country to offer top quality stand-up comedy five
nights a week (Wednesday to Sunday) and is recommended in International publications
such as the Time Out London Guide and the Little Black Book of London.
In September 2008 The Funny Side launched a second location, ‘The Funny Side…of
The City’, to bring the same high level of comedic talent to London’s Square Mile.
Summer 2009 saw the company’s first foray into al-fresco comedy when it promoted two
nights of comedy as part of a London arts festival.
New clubs for 2009 included ‘The Funny Side...of Clapham Common’ which runs
weekly - every Thursday.
In addition to clubs, The Funny Side
operates in a range of other areas within the comedy
industry including writing and directing, production, promotion, graphic and web design
and artist management.
